Tournament Format:

In the opening round robin, teams are bracketed into groups of 6 and are guaranteed a minimum of five games. Group winners, second places and 4 best third places advance to the elimination stage of the tournament. "Friendly Games" will be organized in the latter part of the week for those teams that do not advance to the elimination stage giving teams the opportunity to play five matches (weather permitting) while in Brazil.

All games are played on grass fields in the state of Rio de Janeiro, all within easy driving distance of Macae, Rio de Janeiro. The Opening Ceremonies, Super Group feature games, and all finals will be held in a stadium venue. Trophies and medals are awarded to all finalists and souvenirs to all competitors. The B.H Cup is sanctioned by Rio de Janeiro Soccer Federation, Brazilian Soccer Federation (CBF) and FIFA.

Registration through TetraBrazil: Application will not be accepted from International teams after May 7, 2009, however the Copa BH reserves the right to close any of the age groups at any time prior to May 8, 2009 should the Selection Committee deem it appropriate.
