VISA INFORMATION
(please read)
Each player, coach or parent will need
to obtain a Passport and Visa in order to travel to Brazil.
1- Obtain a passport.
Application can be picked up at your local post office. Follow the
steps on the application for photos, travel dates, etc. This
process usually takes about 30 days.

– Get a Tourist Visa.
Contact the nearest Brazilian
Consulate in your area and request the application. Follow the steps
on the application and return to the Consulate with your passport
and fees. (either go in person or send via mail). You must
request a TOURIST Visa. The purpose of your trip is
TOURISM. Each player must return the a Travel Authorization
Form, signed by either parents or legal guardians and notarized,
with a copy of the player’s birth certificate, to the
Consulate and send a copy to the TetraBrazil office.

Visa Forms
As a matter of reciprocity a visa is required for
American citizens wishing to visit Brazil. To obtain a tourist visa
you will need:

A passport that is valid for at least six months from
the intended date of arrival in Brazil

One passport-sized photograph (2" x 2")

A photocopy of round trip ticket

A duly filled out and signed visa application form

The $100.00 processing fee
Additional information and extra fees may apply,
depending on the specific details of your trip, be sure to check
directly with the Brazilian Consulate where you will be applying for
a visa.

countries
do not require a visa to visit Brazil for tourism purposes, provided
the trip is strictly for tourism and the stay does not exceed 90
days.
